Gentle movement, breath, rest and real conversation — for women in perimenopause, menopause & beyond

Perimenopause, menopause and beyond can feel confusing, exhausting and strangely invisible.

So many women move through this stage thinking, “Is it just me?” — even though so many of us are experiencing the same shifts in mood, sleep, energy, appetite, brain clarity and confidence.

This 6‑week series is a place to slow down and breathe.

A place to learn what’s happening in your changing body, to move gently, to rest deeply, and to connect with other women who understand.

Not in a woo‑woo way — just honest, grounded conversation and supportive practices that help you feel steadier and more at home in yourself.

Together, we’ll explore hormones, heart health, brain fog, strength, bones, pelvic stability, nourishment, mood and the nervous system — all in a warm, down‑to‑earth environment.

No medical advice. No products.

Just lived experience, shared understanding, and the power to choose what feels right for you.

What to Expect

Across six weeks, you’ll explore:

  1. Health, heart & hormones

  2. Mental and brain clarity

  3. Strength & bones

  4. Core & pelvic stability

  5. Weight, nourishment & mood

  6. The science of pain & stress

Movement sessions focus on bone‑supportive strength, pelvic stability, balance, and gentle core activation.

Restorative shapes and long, supported exhales help ease the stress load that often intensifies symptoms.

Most importantly, you’ll be welcomed into a space where your voice is heard, your experience is respected, and you’re encouraged to choose what feels right for you.

This series will not offer medical advice or promote health products.

Instead, it creates a space to listen to the lived experience of other women, to share your own story if you choose, and to explore practices that support steadiness, strength and self‑connection.

Practical Details

🕯️ Fridays, 6:45pm – 8:30pm 

📍 Bowden Village Hall, Melrose 

💷 £20 per session — pay‑as‑you‑go 

👥 Maximum class size 10
